A: If your current hosting provider can no longer fulfill the requirements of your website, or when you experience continuous network downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the customer service staff to get back to you, it may be smart to change your provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your web sites together with your databases from your present provider to your future provider. At CS HOSTING, we realize that this can be hard & time–consuming. That’s the reason why we’ll do all that for you for free!Our highly experienced technical staff reps will migrate your website content from your present provider to us. Our techs have broad experience migrating web sites and can handle anything – from a regular WordPress weblog or Joomla^™ CMS–driven web site, to a very elaborate, custom–made app.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time interval, because there are plenty of variables, including the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will give our very best to move your website within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (in case the content is not very large).

A: Yes. We’ll need to have the name of the web site that you’d like us to move. We’ll also need a means to access your present hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your website.

A: Our Privacy Policy is an indivisible part of the agreement that we will have with you as a client. We are committed to protecting the security of the personal details collected from the clients. To achieve this, we employ technical security measures to avoid the loss, the misappropriation, the modification or the unlawful leak of the personal details under our control. The measures include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and managerial methods to protect and secure the data that we receive on the World Wide Web. When we request customers to submit financial info (for example, a credit card number), this info is encoded using the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology.

A: Your web site will work just like it did before with your old hosting provider. As soon as we are through with the transfer, your web site will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we’ll alert you to preview it. If everything is functioning properly, all you will have to do is edit the NS records corresponding to your domain name. Your website will be migrated to us with no downtime.

A: Nah. We will never get in touch with your web hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the website migration either.

A: We support all Linux–based hosting platforms. Essentially, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source website creation platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
